Day 0/1 of 100 - From Rionegro to San Francisco

Hello, that’s our new blog about our trip in San Francisco.

Really the first day begun in the Friday’s night when we went to the airport. By the "paro agrario"´s reasons we had to go to the airport almost at 11:00 pm. Andres's uncle Gloria with her husband pick up at aurelio's grocery and take us to the airport. In the way we were looking for "la cantaleta" restaurant to eat the last "chicharron" before the trip, but all the restaurants were closed by the "ley seca".

We had to stay in the airport for almost four hours. Then at 4:00 we go to the gate and took the plane to Panama at 5:22 and arrived at 6:38. In the Panama's airport we only had the enough time to run to the other plane and go the way to Los Angele's airport (7:55 - 12:31). In L.A. we had to do the immigration and after to claim our baggage, the policeman took us to show our bags, because we put in our form that we carried food. He discovered a package of sausages in it and took away. That were a present for the family which we are going to stay. We think that the policemen had a good barbecue that weekend.

Well, in our trip again, we took the plane to San Francisco, it was only time to have a fast lunch. We flew from 15:45 to 17:06. Now in San Francisco we claim our baggage and waited for Salvador who had been picking us, but what a surprise we receive an email where Salvador said that he couldn’t and his friend Gustavo will pick up (the problem was that we had a photo of Salvador and his wife but not of Gustavo). Well a person approached us and ask if we are Lindelia y Andres, and said “Hola yo soy Gustavo, yo los quede de recoger ya que Salvador no pudo porque le toco trabajar hoy”.
